A most relaxing experience. Faultless hospitality includes a lunch after you've checked out of your room, if you like, and a horseback ride that morning as well. Once we had a couple of days to relax into the routine, we would have gladly extended our stay if our schedule had allowed. An enchanting place...

We had the best experience! The food was amazing. The riding trails are scenic with awesome views! The people… they are worth the trip alone …. We were made to feel welcome and everyone was so nice. Authentic experience for sure!

What an amazing place to be. The ranch is beautiful and the staff is amazing. Wranglers Garrett and Rey are so welcoming and fun. The ladies in the kitchen are amazing. The food is fantastic and plenty of it. Not sure how anyone could give any less than 5 stars.

For those wanting a Real Texas Ranch living Experience for your self and the kids this is it!!!! After spending 3 nights here and reading some of the negative comments from a bunch of "Karens" I can't help but think you weren't ready for this down home cookin, cowboy trail riding, ranch living experience.. This was an awesome experience, the staff is great they make you feel like one big family!! Food is phenomenal!! Trail rides are the best experience your going to get, I've been around plenty of horses and these horses are by far very well calmed manner and great with kids. Very experienced wranglers. We will be turning this into a early tradition!!

Booked a morning horseback ride session we were visiting the San Antonio area. The ranch itself has a lot of charm and the office staff was friendly, if a little distant (maybe because we weren't overnight guests). The ride itself was fun but concerning from a safety standpoint - no helmets, minimal instruction, and the path goes through some very steep, rocky inclines where it felt the horse was bucking you (same thing doing down). The only help we got from our guide was just how to steer the horse in one direction or the other and basic things like that. I get that they make these trips often, but I don't feel like there was enough done to make me feel safe. The trail was beautiful and there were thankfully no injuries, but they really should take more safety measures - helmets for all, seat straps for younger riders, etc.

Great time but the food offering and service needs a huge improvement. Why rush people? Dinner is served at 6pm and is over by 6.15pm. Seriously. Even school dinner isn't that rushed.

Awesome vacation 🤠👢🐎🫶 DDR is an place with good vibrations, beautiful landscape, lovely horses, goats, donkey, longhorns etc. So many hiking trails on the Ranch to enjoy:) The bell rang for an delicious meal🍲😋. Many thanks to all employees at the Ränge😊👍☀️

This place is magical! My family is at peace here. My kids aren't consumed with video games and my wife and I find plenty of time to connect and enjoy the lack of connectivity with the rest of the world. The horses are lively enough to have personality and interest experienced riders, but safe enough for novice riders as well. The staff is extremely friendly and patient and the food is better than you will find at most restaurants. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get away and enjoy connecting with lived ones while learning about horses and livestock.
